Optometry Receptionist

We are looking for a receptionist who will thrive in a busy east side optometry office. The successful candidate should be prepared to work 40 hours per week with NO required weekend hours. Our patients expect fast, friendly service and attention to detail when being assisted.

Job responsibilities and duties:

• Answering multi-line phone calls
• Checking in patients (verifying personal and insurance information)
• Scheduling appointments
• Making recalls to patients in need of appts
• Filing charts
• Manage daily scheduled appts
• Daily cleaning and sanitization of the office

Qualifications and skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well with a team
• Basic computer/typing skills
• Ability to communicate with other areas to efficiently move patients through the exam process
• Attention to detail
• Highly motivated, organized and able to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
