The HR Communications and Recruitment Brand Manager works closely with HR leadership to manage our recruitment and Team engagement strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for recruitment marketing to showcase the CARFAX employee experience, help define our key differentiators and Employee Value Proposition, and shape the internal HR communications strategy to support our Mission-Driven team-oriented culture and ensure that CARFAX continues to be a great place to work.
 
At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days per week in the office subject to change with future business needs.
 
You will focus on two key areas:
 

1.  Employer Brand: Drive recruitment brand awareness and guide efforts to increase job applicants. Measure talent engagement metrics to inform broader recruiting strategies.

  • Recruitment Platform Management: Oversee CARFAX presence on recruitment platforms, including our Careers Page, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc. Develop and implement talent marketing campaigns to enhance CARFAX visibility and attract diverse and qualified candidates, including pursuing top employer recognition.
  • Recruitment Messaging: Promote the CARFAX Culture by highlighting our pride and Employee Value Proposition (EVP).  Develop and drive the execution of an employee branding playbook for recruiters, ensure we leverage the EVP in the right channels at the right time.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling written and video content that successfully communicates our mission-driven team culture. Work closely with employees to capture and share authentic stories, experiences, and testimonials.

2. Team CARFAX Communications: Shape and drive the internal HR communications strategy, messaging important people updates, benefit and policy programs, and initiatives to our diverse Team.

  • Manage HR Communications Strategy: Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communication materials are aligned with CARFAX mission, brand strategy, and employee value proposition (EVP). Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in internal communication, and proactively propose new ideas and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and communication.
  • Internal Campaign Management:  Support HR initiatives and promote a positive and inclusive work culture by creating engaging and informative communications, including emails, presentations, and videos.
  • Messaging and Copywriting: Produce clear, organized, and thoughtful written communications, including key message documents, FAQs, talking points and announcements.
 
What we’re looking for:
 
  • 5+ years of professional communications or relevant experience demonstrating the ability to identify and tell corporate stories to different internal audiences across a variety of channels, experience with employer brand management highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and curiosity for People/HR concepts, including employee experience, DEI, change management, leadership, L&D and talent management.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with ability to connect the dots and turn complex ideas into messages and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience.
  • Collaborative, team-first mentality, including exceptional organization in planning, prioritizing, and completing simultaneous projects and activities.
  • Experience producing high-impact, visual marketing materials and demonstrated history and ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences; familiarity with marketing best practices and engagement campaign strategy, social channel landscape, and marketing metrics.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Word skills required; experience with video editing and creative tools a plus.
