Navitas Business Consulting is seekingan HR Administrator to join our team at our Headquarters in Herndon VA. Thisrole would support several departments within the organization and require tobe on-site.
The HR Administrator will play a keyrole in supporting our HR department by managing various HR functions includingonboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinatethe onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientationsessions, preparing necessary paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition intothe company.
· Handlethe offboarding process for departing employees and contractors, includingconducting exit interviews and facilitating the return of company property.
· Managebenefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, andserve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related tobenefits.
· Workclosely with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagementinitiatives aimed at fostering a positive work environment and improvingemployee morale.
· Assistwith employee relations matters, including investigating and resolving employeecomplaints and conflicts in a timely and confidential manner.
· Maintainaccurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliancewith relevant regulations and company policies.
· Collaboratewith other departments as needed to support HR initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor'sdegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· 2+years of experience in HR administration or a similar role, preferably in theIT industry.
· Strongknowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
· Excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiencyin HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite. (Knowledge of Paylocity is preferred)
· Stronginterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interacteffectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
· Abilityto maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
· SHRM-CPor PHR certification is a plus.
