Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller at Frontier Dental Lab Group located in El Dorado Hills, CA. The Financial Controller will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, creating and overseeing accurate and timely financial statements, financial reporting and analysis, and managing financial risks.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly identify financial issues
• Experience in finance, accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to create and oversee accurate and timely financial statements
• Produce timely and accurate accounting reports. Maintain an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. Enhance the accuracy of the Company’s reported financial results and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. This includes 1099’s, 571-L, Sales Tax and other misc. tax filings.
• Support the cash management and working capital needs of the business.
• Oversee cost centers, develop accurate pricing standards. Enforce strict inventory accounting procedures and controls.
• Supervise bank reconciliations, AR, fixed assets, AP, sales & use taxes, and other staff level activities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, Master’s degree is a plus
• Experience in the dental industry is a plus

• Sitting Continuous for 8+ hours
• Bending or stooping continuously for up to 4 hours
• Vision - The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
