The Position/Role

The Server Assistant is an essential member of the team. They will be a part of a team responsible for putting Truss and Auro on the map. Server Assistants work closely with servers and delivering food to the guests. They will also assist with setting up and clearing china , glass, and silver from service . The Server Assistant will prepare food and beverages as needed and transport items from bars and kitchen counters to guests.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and restocking of linen, china, silver and glassware for service and bar ensuring that all are polished and in good condition.

• Preparation of condiment and garnish items and food and beverage items as needed .
• 
  
• Set up tables, stations and counter as required for the operations.
• 
  
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the Restaurant for the duration of the shift.
• 
  
• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary.
• 
  
• Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen and safely transporting it to guest, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table.
• 
  
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• 
  
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas
• 
  
• Moving Tables and Chairs and other items pertaining to the operations
• 
  
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• 
  
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed.
• 
  
• Comply with Pink Martini’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact .
• 
  
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Who You Are

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• 
  
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
• 
  
• Must of Food Handlers Permit and Responsible Beverage Service ( RBS) Permit
• 
  
• Must be flexible with schedule- Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
• 
  
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• 
  
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
• 
  
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills
• 
  
• Valid driver’s l icense and clean driving record

This position is not eligible for work sponsorship/visa. Candidates must possess valid US work authorization.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
