Legal Assistant Plaintiff's Personal Injury

We are a Personal Injury Firm with an office located in Roseville, California. We have long term employees and are looking for the right candidate to complement our family friendly office. We have short days on Fridays and have a very congenial work environment. This position allows for a lot of growth and experience including litigation. Benefits for full time include Healthcare, Dental, Vision, paid holidays, PTO and bonuses and Retirement after qualifying length of employment. Benefits for Part time are paid holidays, PTO and bonuses. Full time is 38 hours and Part time is 30 hours. 

This is an in Office Position

Qualifications: At least one year of Law Office Experience. A.A. or Bachelors preferred. Must type 55-60 WPM. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of Clio is a plus. Must be very customer service oriented and have good telephone demeanor. Experience in Personal Injury or Insurance Defense a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer phones and assist existing clients and prospective new clients by completing an intake

Draft letters and other documents

Order and enter medical billings into Excel

Order medical records

Review incoming correspondence and scan documents

Review/summarize incoming medical records

Communicate with clients and medical providers on a regular basis via mail, email and text.

Calendaring and other clerical related duties including data entry into Clio

Filing and organizing documents in Digital legal files and physical files

Other office duties as needed
