Reports To: Progress House Inc. C.E.O. and C.O.O.


Job Overview:
Progress House Inc.s QA/QI Specialist will report directly to C.E.O and C.O.O. The QA/QI Specialist will communicate with the Chief Executive Officer to confirm the interest in grants and collaborations with funders. They will identify project goals, objectives, and scope and create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. They will ensure that all deadlines are met and budgets are followed and documented appropriately. Additionally, the QA/QI Specialist will assist and provide support to the Chief Operations Officer in terms of ensuring that all production processes are controlled and monitored for quality and compliance. The QA/QI Specialist will assist in reviewing client charts, identifying needs for staff training and assisting in conducting staff training as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties


Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Execute grant project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders and inventory reports, among other financial documents
  • Complete projects by deadlines and uphold initiatives of projects
  • Dividing up budgets for different project aspects
  • Setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines
  • Communicating with C.E.O. and the Board to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Maintain records and submit reports related to grant.
  • Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval
  • Schedule and organize meetings
  • Participating in trainings that further project goals
  • Assist C.O.O with chart reviews and ensuring documentation compliance with county funders.
  • Assist C.O.O with new staff training and supporting counselor case load as needed.
  • Assist C.O.O. with implementation of monthly client surveys ensuring client satisfaction in line with Progress House, Inc. mission and values.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and in place, including safety procedures are functional and being followed within the facilities.

  • Excellent knowledge of proposal submission
A combination of three years of experience and/or education in the field of substance use disorder treatment, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information presented in professional publications, referral documents and similar materials. Ability to write clearly and cohesively and to present information effectively both orally and in writing.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, implements or office equipment; talk and hear; stand and walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop or kneel. Employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. May work at keyboard intermittently throughout the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
