DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! DCI Donor Services is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to join our team. The Process Improvement Analyst (PIA) assists in identification and delivery of process improvement initiatives throughout DCI Donor Services. The PIA is a member of the Business Intelligence team and utilizes data along with tools like process mapping, root cause analysis, lean, six sigma, and PDSA to increase donation and make a positive impact on DCIDS’ goals. This will be a remote role and may be based out of any of our locations in Nashville, Tennessee, Sacramento, California, or Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  1. Coordinates with management and departmental staff to identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement initiatives that lead to a positive and measurable impact on organizational goals.

  2. Designs and implements process improvement initiatives to improve outcomes, optimize use of organizational resources, and maintain organizational alignment.

  3. Acts as a resource and engages DCIDS staff in developing and implementing improvement projects in their departments.

  4. Leads improvement initiatives and facilitates the development of problem-solving projects and process change. Regularly reports the status of projects and related impact.

  5. Works collaboratively with Business Intelligence team on data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure project selection and goals are data driven.

  6. Maintains a working knowledge of industry regulations and standards and ensures that improvement initiatives align with DCIDS SOPs, processes, and training.

  7. Participates in national and industry specific meetings/conferences, networks with process improvement professionals, shares best practices, tools, and materials.

  8. Performs other duties as assigned.


The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Manage, organize, prioritize, and deliver on day-to-day tasks and longer-term projects, individually and as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university of college.
  • Certification if Quality Management and/or Process Improvement methods required (e.g., Lean, Six-Sigma, ASQ, etc.)
  • Two (2) years of related work experience in process improvement. Demonstrated expertise in leading organizational process improvement initiatives with favorable outcomes. Skilled at data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, skilled at multi-tasking, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
