Payroll Specialist

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Payroll Specialist for its client. This individual would be responsible for processing payroll for employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinate and process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll reports accurately and on time for healthcare system employees.

· Provide clear communication to both internal and external stakeholders regarding payroll matters.

· Compile and analyze payroll data for accuracy before distribution.

· Assist in training staff on the API Time and Attendance System.

· Prepare and submit government tax reports on schedule.

· Learn and manage updates to payroll systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

· Ensure compliance with government regulations affecting payroll processes.

· Assist in maintaining system tables related to payroll.

· Provide assistance and support to payroll associates, approvers, timekeepers, and management staff.

· Fill in for the payroll manager when needed, ensuring smooth payroll operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ years of experience in Payroll or a related field, showcasing a solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.

· Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.

· Proficient in using computer software applications, with a focus on payroll systems.

· Ability to navigate and utilize payroll software efficiently.

· Understanding of governmental regulations pertaining to payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
