Dietz Property Group is seeking an Area Facilities Manager to oversee preventative maintenance, CapX projects, value add plans, and third-party vendor purchasing and relationships for one of our Premier Multi-Family Portfolios in the Greater Columbus Ohio area.

OVERVIEW:

As Area Facilities Manager you are responsible for the following:

• Develop, implement and maintain the appropriate preventative maintenance processes to ensure all assets are properly preserved
• Develop, implement and maintain processes for CapX projects
• Facilitate key CapX projects by obtaining the appropriate bids and ensuring all work is completed to agreed upon specs and standards
• Execute Value Add programs through vendor selection and coordination of work between property staff and outside contractors
• Negotiate with vendors for bulk purchase / savings opportunities.
• Assist with due diligence for acquisitions
• Develop maintenance team members to grow the company's facilities knowledge and bench strength. This includes training maintenance supervisors and/or maintenance techs as needed
• Develop, implement and maintain company maintenance processes in alignment with the appropriate safety standards
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policy and the appropriate safety standards
• Travel to all assets in the STG portfolio and to potential acquisitions as needed
• Conduct facilities activities in a manner that assists the DPG portfolio in maintaining or exceeding budgets
• Ordering supplies, overseeing and approving invoices
• Other duties as assigned

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A commitment to the Company's Core Values
• 10+ years of experience in facilities and construction
• Skills in a broad range of maintenance areas including heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and carpentry
• Proven project management skills
• Background in value add and property management highly preferred
• A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
• Willingness to travel as needed

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position for which you will typically work M-F from 9am - 6pm
