G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add a Supervisor to the operations in Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

Title: Supervisor

Pay Rate: $21.00

Shift: May vary depending on operational needs.

Job Type: Part Time

The Supervisor is also responsible for day-to-day operations, including scheduling timesheets, managing staff, assisting in investigations, and responding to client needs.

What does a Supervisor do?

• Must be familiar with and abide by all Client/company regulations.
• Work with Client Special Services Representatives to meet all service requests.
• Escalate issues to the Operations Manager Immediately.
• Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from Client representatives and employees professionally and promptly.
• Always complete the appropriate documentation and reports thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Keep the manager informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain the cleanliness of the immediate work area, and report maintenance needs.
• Check all equipment thoroughly before operating.
• Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public in a courteous manner.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required.
• Responsible for counseling, coaching, and disciplinary action regarding performance and attendance.
• Must be attired in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials, and identification must always be visible.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives.
• Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources conscientiously and cost-effectively.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What skills are required to Join the Team?

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience
• Must have a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; some nights and weekends
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Must have reliable telephone and transportation

Language Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
• Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
