Job Description

Reno Staffing is looking for a Customer service/Product Support Representative (Hybrid role- ONSITE) for a Power Tool Distribution Center in the North Valleys area!

It is not your typical call center! Management wants it to be a HOME away from home and a place that you WANT to wake up and come to work! They have a wonderful atmosphere and snacks!

This position is TEMPORARY- No set duration of the assignment. However, it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to get comfortable with their system.

**THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. YOU WILL WORK ONSITE.**

Shift: Mon-Fri 7:45am- 4:45pm
Pay: $18/HR+ DOE
Location: Reno, NV 89506. (North Valleys Area)

Job Summary

The Product Support Representative is responsible for handling inquiries via phone and electronically, related to the power tool industry. This role will involve assisting new and existing customers by explaining features, clarifying operating instructions, locate dealers, process orders, providing troubleshooting tips, helping diagnose technical issues and assist with repair requests.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls from customers related to power tools
Respond timely to Customer email enquiries
Explain usage and warranty information to customers
Distribute orders to appropriate departments
Follow up on Voicemail messages
Process Warranty claims
Complete various reports using MS Excel
Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
Able to collaborate with departments outside of customer service to help resolve issues.
Stay up to date and knowledgeable about new product releases
Additional tasks as needed.

Education, Skills and/or Experience Needed:

High School diploma is required.
Minimum 1yr Experience in customer service role.
A positive attitude, a friendly personality and a passion with working with people.
Must be diplomatic, patient, and a good listener.
Ability to multi-task and have strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to think on your feet.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills
Experience using power tools, professionally or personally is a plus
Prior experience in Tool Repair or Rental Repair is a plus.
Experience using multiple computer systems and multiple monitors.
Must be able to work as part of a larger team
Must be able to multi-task and have analytical and strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to think on your feet.
Strong motivation to complete tasks accurately and efficiently

This position works in an open office setting that is quiet, fast paced, fosters continuous learning while operating under high demand/volume. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

A resume with relevant work history is required to be considered for this position and a interview with the client will be required.

No drug test is required for this position, however you will need to pass a drug test in order to be converted.
