Job Description

Part time, 30 hours/week

Join a small company making premium, all-natural dog treats and chews

Job Duties

Trim and cut meats, poultry and fish
Load and unload freezers, refrigerators and dehydrators
Maintain clean, safe and sanitary condition of kitchen, food storage and preparation areas at all times
May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

Compensation & Perks:

Depending on work experience, starting at $15.50 per hour
Kitchen hours: Mon.-Fri., 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed on weekends and major holidays including Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Work directly with the owners of a small, fast-growing company

Requirements

Work experience in a butcher shop, meat department or restaurant kitchen is desired, but not mandatory
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for at least 4 hours
Valid California food handler’s certification (may be obtained after hire)
Must have a source of reliable transportation
