$40,000k-$50,000k (DOE)
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Blacklick, Ohio (onsite)
An east side manufacturing company in business for 50+ years is seeking a motivated, self-starter for a full-time Human Resources & Accounting Coordinator role. The Human Resources & Accounting Coordinator is responsible for the organized & timely delivery of a variety of HR generalist-related job functions, such as processing weekly payroll and attendance, administrating benefits & accounting.

What you’ll be doing:
- Performs all aspects of HR, including but not limited to, compensation, benefits & leave; disciplinary matters, performance/recognition, and employee morale
- Weekly payroll & attendance; administers FMLA, STD, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and correspondence
- Works closely with Director of Finance and Director of Operations to ensure the company’s operational and personnel objectives align
- Leads recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process
- Data entry of invoices
- Prep & process daily deposits & successfully record payments
- Follow up on past-due invoices
- Reviews and revises relevant policies to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards and best practices
- Maintaining comprehensive records throughout the life cycle ensuring accurate & up to date documentation
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing duties
- Plans and organizes company team member activities
- Contributes to marketing efforts via the organization’s social media platforms
- Additional duties include some general office duties
Who we’re looking for:
- 1-3 years of Human Resource Experience
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable & Payroll Experience is preferred (the company is willing to train)
- Must be highly organized & possess great attention to detail
- An approachable, positive, and friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks at the same time
- High energy, self-motivated, and resourceful individual
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Professional presentation & communication skills
- Act professionally with integrity and confidentiality
- General Math & Accounting Skills
- Background working in an office for a manufacturing/production company preferred
- Knowledge of IBM iSeries/AS400 operating system a plus, but not required
- MS Office experience required, specifically Outlook
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
