Job Description

Position Overview

As a Robot Operator at Onsight Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the operation and maintenance of our advanced robotic systems deployed on solar sites. You will work as part of a dynamic team that leverages cutting-edge technology to ensure the efficient operation and optimization of solar energy facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor robotic systems remotely to inspect and maintain solar sites.
Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to robot operation.
Ensure that robotic systems are operating within specified parameters and safety standards.
Essential to operate robots in a safe manner while on customer sites and at all times.
Spending extended periods of time sitting and staring at computer screens.
Keep detailed records of robot activities and maintenance procedures.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Assist in the deployment of robotic systems at various solar sites.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical education or certification is a plus).
Previous experience in robotics operation, maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Flexibility to work in various outdoor conditions and travel to different solar sites as needed.
Knowledge of solar energy systems is a plus.
