Property Maintenance Specialist

Wylde Vacation Rentals is seeking a Property Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will help us maintain properties so that every guest has an amazing five-star experience and owners can be confident their property is in good hands. We have an amazing team of hardworking individuals that take pride in contributing to this goal. Property maintenance

• Conduct routine maintenance checks

• Routine tasks include: replace air filters, add salt to water softeners, refill propane tanks

• Perform minor repairs

  • Ex: door knob fell off, replace lightbulb, tighten a cabinet hinge

  • These are non-handyman tasks: typically < 15 minutes, homeowner with limited knowledge and tools could do it

Short notice, time-sensitive property visits

• Examples: smoke alarm beeping, TV or internet not working, appliance not working

• Identify the problem, then make the repair or schedule another contractor

Schedule repairs or routine maintenance with contractors (handyman, plumber, electrician, etc.)

Requirements:

• Basic home repair skills plus an understanding of home systems and appliances

• Proficient using mobile apps for communication and scheduling

• Manage time efficiently within a fast-paced work environment

• Organize your schedule and effectively prioritize tasks. Keep track of long-term projects

• Be observant and proactive; notice and address issues that are not covered by routine inspection checklists

• Have a reliable vehicle and visit multiple properties each day

• Take pride in your work and collaborate with our team to provide the best possible experience for guests and homeowners

Compensation and Schedule

• $25/hour

• 30–40 hours per week

• Inspections Sunday–Friday (approximately 6 hours/day, 5 days/week)

• On call on Saturday

• Off on Tuesday (option to work 6 hours on Tuesday if desired)

• Must be able to work between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM

• Outside of normal hours, must be in Sedona within one hour for urgent issues
