JOB SUMMARY: A great full or part time job
The Visitor Information Specialist provides recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires for the North Lake Tahoe area (Hiking trails, restaurants, activities, retail businesses, transportation) at the beach kiosk in Kings Beach. A high degree of customer service, friendliness and knowledge of businesses, events and trails on the West shore, Tahoe City, Olympic Valley, Northstar, Kings Beach and Incline Village are essential. Hours include weekends and holidays during the summer season June – September.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ABILITIES:
- Provide excellent, friendly customer service
- Answer phones and mail requests
- Conduct ticket and retail sales with daily sales reconciliation
- Promote local businesses to incoming visitors
- Flexible work hours
- General center cleaning, trash & recycling
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists and performs other job functions as requested or assigned
EDUCATION:
- High School or Equivalent
- College preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Previous customer service required
LICENSES OR PERMITS REQUIRED:
- Valid State of California/Nevada Driver’s License
- Valid ID, green card or resident card if not a U.S. citizen
