Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic 2nd Shift Outbound Operations Manager to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to wield substantial influence in the success and growth of our organization. 

Shift Hours: Monday- Friday 3:00PM- 11:30PM

Primary Job Responsibilities

Responsible and accountable for the accuracy and quality of all outbound processes including pick, pack, loading, and transportation.
Manage and approve outbound schedules for all carriers.
Interface with outbound carriers to ensure accurate shipment possession handoff data and process.
Prepare loads and schedule LTL outbound, pallet stack, wrap and load.
Manage dunnage, tape & seal, and Shipment label process and accuracy.
Complete and maintain DOT HazMat Certification and training to staff
Troubleshoot problems including discrepancies, system processing issues, and operational opportunities and provide corrective action to resolve.
Record and monitor KPI’s (SLA’s) per contract; working with Management as needed to rectify and resolve issues that have contributed to underperformance.
Ensure that all processes related to department tasks are followed and take corrective action when not followed.

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Drive process improvement and warehouse process standardization; ensuring that training is completed as needed
Drive Safety Initiative; ensuring that the facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
Provide leadership and coaching to site-based team thru active recruiting, training and evaluating employees
