Memory Care Resident Care Coordinator for Assisted Living Community

We are seeking a Memory Care Resident Care Coordinator to become a part of our team! The RCC is to ensure that our Assisted Living and Memory Care facility is adhering to company policies and Community Care Licensing regulations (Title XXII). This is a salaried position with bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for training, scheduling, & managing an effective team of medication technicians and caregivers.
• Responsible for resident care assessments for all residents.
• Responsible for ensuring the community is adequately staffed.
• Is involved in new resident admissions and manages current levels of care to ensure resident care needs are being met at all times.
• Interacts with hospice nurses, in-home care providers, and families to ensure our staff is current with resident needs.
• Oversees the med room to ensure orders are current, MARS are being followed, and does periodic audits to ensure compliance.
• Coordinates and oversees all continuing education for care staff.
• Must have a flexible work schedule and be available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week to respond to residential care emergencies that may arise.
• Must be good with a computer and modern software programs and cloud storage and be able to quickly become familiar with our Resident EMAR software solution (Eldermark).

​Qualifications:

• Understands Title XXII rules and regulations.
• Must be CPR certified and pass a criminal background check.
• Must have previous management experience in a skilled nursing facility or an assisted living community.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Must be reliable, hard-working, upbeat, work well with others, a team player, and have a can-do attitude.
