Licensed Practical Nurse

Focused Staffing Group is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team. Our client's Personal Care home is an active community for senior living, join us in caring for residents residing in apartment-style living. COVID 19 VACCINE REQUIRED.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must play an active role in supervising Med Techs and Caregivers in our Personal Care Home
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
• Assist ailing patients in necessary daily activities such as eating, bathing, etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
• Effectively communicate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing

Documents to submit: (Current within the last 12 months)

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in NV
• CPR and First Aid
• 2-step TB test
• Criminal Background Check
• Physical exam
• Vaccination Card

Pays up to $36/hr!
