Operations Coordinator

SUMMARY

Responsible for the operation of multiple jobs in a profitable and efficient manner through proper utilization of assigned manpower, materials, and equipment. Is responsible for coordinating activities of each job and for setting priorities necessary to complete each job on time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs the in-process of jobs by creating job folders, ensuring a signed contract, a permit and job cost for each job

• Reviews contracts and job cost for each job to ensure accuracy and profitability

• Updates internal calendar with crew details

• Coordinates with crews to ensure jobs are complete on time and schedules crews for gobacks or warranty work as needed

• Obtains quotes for materials needed for all jobs

• Orders material and schedules material drop off with vendors at the job site location

• Ensures business license on file and pulls permits with city or county of job location

• Schedules in-progress and final inspections with city or county inspectors and sends pictures to inspectors as needed

• Corresponds with property managers and provides updates on project status

• Supports crews at job site as needed

• Performs general office duties as needed

Education and/or Experience: Minimum of two years of college, prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory role; preferably in construction industry. Knowledge of roofing industry a plus. 

Must be bilingual. Fluent in both English and Spanish.
