POSITION OVERVIEW

DEFTEC is seeking a candidate to be a Knowledge Management Analyst at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Operations & Integration Directorate (O&I), Operational Analysis Department, OAM Division. Candidate will be responsible for managing the systems and platforms utilized for the dissemination of intelligence products in support of the Agency, DoD, and Intelligence Community (IC); and to shape solutions that will lead to improved organizational effectiveness and decision making. Work will be completed at a government facility in Reston, VA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the systems and platforms utilized for the dissemination of intelligence products in support of DTRA, DoD, and the IC.
  • Shape solutions that will lead to improved organizational effectiveness and decision making.
  • Provide basic Tier 1 support to resolve user issues when requested.
  • Manage, create, modify, and remove user accounts/groups.
  • Provide training/support on system configuration, troubleshooting, procedures, and maintenance.
  • Conduct quality control on products by reviewing and ensuring products conform to standards, and ensure content is correctly annotated.
  • Lead Knowledge Management Working Groups (KMWG) to ensure knowledge sharing is occurring throughout the enterprise and enabling collaborative work.
  • Ensure all systems conform to established SOPs as provided by customer leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a technology field, including Computer Science, Software Engineering, Advanced Analytics.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in the IC.
  • Must have DoD 8140 compliant certification for Knowledge Manager work role (Security+, SSCP, etc. Formerly DoD 8570 IAT II-level certification).
  • Knowledge and experience with a programming language, specifically Python or Groovy. Experience with JavaScript and CSS a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Jira and Confluence administration, specifically building and maintaining complex Jira Projects and Confluence Spaces.
  • Experience creating and maintaining a KM Plan of Action to capture tacit and explicit knowledge and lessons learned throughout an organization.
  • Experience leading meetings with stakeholders from across the enterprise to ensure unified vision for success.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing, integrating, and curating a web presence across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing content and disseminating intelligence products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent time management skills required.
