IT Field Service Technician
Pay Rate: $17.00/HR W2, plus mileage and travel expense (Increase to $23.50/HR upon hire)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm; Must participate in on-call rotation
Location: Stockton, CA 95206 service area
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Description:
Tech will be dispatched out to handle service calls for client IT equipment throughout the Stockton, CA service area.
- Level of support will vary depending on customer but could include printers, laptops, servers, networking, and switches among other duties
- Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
- Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Skills:
- Must live within 20 miles of 95206 zip code
- 1+ year of printer break/fix experience
- Good admin and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of printers, laptops, desktops, servers, and network
- Ability to meet deadlines and SLAs
- Needs to obtain A+ certification within 6 months of employment
- Must have reliable transportation in order to travel throughout defined area to complete service calls
