Hospice Medical Records Clerk 

Salary: $20-25/hr BOE

Schedule: Full time | M-F| 8:00AM-4:00PM 

Location: Hilliard, Ohio

Requirements of the Medical Records Clerk role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Experience in Medical Records/Medical receptionist
• Detail-oriented, skilled in organization, able to manage office files, log books, and staff schedules
• Must possess secretarial skills and customer service skills

About the Medical Records Clerk Assistant role:

• Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients
• Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate, and complete
• Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
• Filing the paperwork and reports of inpatients quickly and accurately
• Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
• Transferring data into the facility’s main system database
• Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
• Preparing paperwork for IDG meetings
• Breakdown of discharged patient records
• All other duties as assigned
