Accounts Payable Leader

JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Leader – Pepsi Bottling

REPORTS TO: Eric Cuebas

SUMMARY: Supports all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring that all deadlines are met with the highest degree of accuracy

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and prepares accurate and timely processing of monthly accounts payable expenditures including but not limited to document review, vendor set-up and maintenance, and check generation and distribution
• Ensures that adequate internal controls are communicated and adhered to in all accounts payable processes
• Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective accounts payable processes, policies, and procedures
• Prepares and presents accounts payable reports as required
• Reviews, analyzes, and implements technological changes to enhance performance and customer requirements
• Identifies problem areas and takes corrective actions
• Interfaces with appropriate departments to secure proper payment approvals
• Oversees maintenance of accounts payable files and records
• Responds to all vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests; resolves invoice discrepancies
• Reviews and reconciles periodic reports to maintain current reconciliation status for cash and disbursement accounts
• Assists with related special projects as required
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting
• 3-5 years related experience in Accounts Payable
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
