Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an Office Manager to join our office in Downtown Sacramento. We're in search of an engaged, team-oriented, and resourceful administrative professional to support the company and its employees, someone who will add value to the business and strength to our culture.

What you'll do: You will organize and coordinate office procedures to help ensure the smooth operation of our Sacramento office. This includes oversight and management of other office administrative staff, as well as working directly on document production with engineering staff.

Responsibilities include:

1. Manage office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondence is appropriately controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.
2. Develop and implement office policies (in coordination with the Office Director) by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office.
3. Organize, schedule and set up meetings and appointments.
4. Coordinate with IT department on all IT-related equipment and services.
5. Provide general support to visitors.
6. Conduct, coordinate, and/or assist with new hire orientation.
7. Provide administrative support to the Group Director and others as needed.
8. Coordinate with other Office Managers in the firm to ensure corporate standards are met.
9. Provide assistance with overseeing Records for the Sacramento office.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position generally ranges between $6000 and $8500 per month. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law. Actual pay rates will be based on various factors, including location, company geographic differentials, education level and candidate qualifications. Benefits include health and life insurance, commuter benefits, 401(k) with company Profit Sharing contribution, paid parental leave, employee ownership in a privately held stock plan, financial support for professional activities, company holidays and a generous paid time off program.

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications (Required)

1. 5+ years of office/administrative experience
2. 2+ years of supervisory and management experience.
3. Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PDF creation and editing Software.
4. Resourceful and flexible with the ability to prioritize competing assignments and follow through on commitments.
5. The ability to create and maintain strong business partner relationships.
6. Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills.
7. Good editing skills and a sharp eye for detail.

Qualifications (Preferred)

1. Experience working within AEC 360 and Tonic.
2. Bachelor's degree.
3. Work experience in an Architecture, Engineering, or Contractor-type professional services firm.
4. Experience working with full MS Office Suite and PDF software.
