Position Description
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the team’s Directors and plays a key role in the execution of client projects, driving client satisfaction, coordinating client programs, contracts, and business relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists management team with development projects from entitlements process through construction. 
  • Assists team with Site Feasibility studies and due diligence research and outline risks associated with development of projects.
  • Process and track various permits for multiple jobs/ projects.
  • Provides periodic updates of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). 
  • Coordinates with key consultants and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of plans and materials.
  • Assists with drafting redlines and site plan design.
  • This is not a full list; additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Work Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience with CAD, entitlements process, site feasibility studies, and due diligence reports.
  • Experience with prior land development projects including basic knowledge of due diligence reports, site feasibility studies, and the plan check process.
  • Previous experience submitting plans to municipalities.
Preferred Education and Skills Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, urban planning, architecture preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills ability to multi-task various projects.
  • Ability to provide timely and reliable information to clients and team members on a regular basis.
  • Valid and current Driver’s License.
  • Kind, Team player attitude.
Physical Requirements
  • Attend meetings at job site locations, various municipalities (hearings) or TAIT offices.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle to job sites or client meetings.
  • Ability to lift and carry plan sets that can weigh up to 20lbs; cart provided for assistance.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range for position: $60,000/yr - $75,000/yr
