What is the role?
The Investment Analyst is an entry-level position on the investment team of the leading OCIO firm. The Analyst will work directly with the investment and client portfolio management teams and will have the following opportunities and responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor client portfolios and underling investments across various asset classes (e.g., public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, real assets and other).
- Assist senior investment team with investment research and analysis.
- Actively participate in due diligence and monitoring of existing and prospective asset managers.
- Attend and participate in meetings with existing and prospective investment managers. developing quantitative and qualitative evaluations of investment opportunities, and analyzing performance data and portfolio characteristics.
- Support Client Portfolio Management by managing and monitoring client investment portfolios.
- Reviewing portfolio performance, attribution, and positioning,
- Preparing client presentations
- Assisting with investment and portfolio analysis
- Responding to ad-hoc client requests.
- Communicate portfolio results externally with investment managers, client representatives, auditors, and custodians.
- Attend and contribute to monthly and quarterly internal investment meetings.
- Conduct other projects related to a broad array of institutional investment areas.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Accounting.
- Strong academic credentials and understanding of relevant financial, mathematical, and accounting techniques.
- Minimum 3.25 GPA (preferred).

- Good understanding of financial markets and strong interest in investments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and solid organizational time-management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- High integrity and ethical values.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
- Experience or familiarity with VBA, SQL, and R.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Interest in pursuing CFA designation.
