Senior SharePoint Project Manager

xScion is seeking an experienced Project Manager, to lead a migration project from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the migration project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.

As a Project Manager, You will:

• Develop and manage the overall project plan for the migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the migration process, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to execute technical aspects of the migration, including data migration, configuration, and testing.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, project team members, and leadership.
• Manage project budget and resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of the migration project within scope and on schedule.
• Conduct post-migration reviews and assessments to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience and proven experience as a Project Manager leading SharePoint migration projects, preferably from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and administration.
• Experience with migration tools and methodologies for SharePoint, including data migration, content migration, and site migration.
• Expertise in Agile methodology
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• US Citizenship required.
