Position: Commercial Paint Estimator
Location: Sacramento, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for painting projects.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience with government agencies, municipalities, school districts, and Public Works projects.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the commercial painting industry.
- Adept at using estimating software and Excel to deliver precise bids.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in paint estimation or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
