Job Description

We are looking for an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator.  An Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of raw materials and final products from our Nurseries to our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

 Duties of the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will include but not limited to:

 

·        Organizing and managing clone and plant inventory using a variety of computer systems and software including our own custom software, Canix and Google Sheets.

·        Interfacing with our Operations team, Sales Representatives and Customers.

·        Key resource of integrating sales orders with operational fulfillment.

·        Provide and ensure accuracy of Spot Order and Cut to Fulfill Inventory levels.

·        Allocating inventory for Sales Orders.

·        Communications with the Sales Representatives and Operation’s Manager and Cut Teams to ensure orders are cut and ready on time and customer expectations are well-managed.

·        Preparing logistical maps for single and piggyback orders.

·        Tracking and ordering nursery supplies as needed.

·        Meeting with customers for order pickups.

·        Develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and customers.

·        Tracking nursery inventory supplies as needed for production.

Additionally:

Strong Cannabis Industry Knowledge

·        Possess a firm grasp on all aspects of the cannabis industry and be able to use that knowledge base to drive key initiatives for the organization. The coordinator is expected to use excellent communication skills to keep customer relationships strong and their experienced industry knowledge to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective logistics.

Time Management & Prioritization

·        Phinest employees display excellent time management skills and must be very strategic in how they allocate their time daily. Prioritization around the most important and immediate needs of the business should be the primary driver for planning and executing meetings, checking in with departments and offering feedback on projects and proposals.

Exemplary Customer Service & Communication skills

·        Serves as the very last line of escalation when it comes to speaking to customers. Discretion should be used prior to escalating customer issues to senior management but should always be prepared to field customer concerns with retention being the primary goal.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·        Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·        The ability to learn fast, and the desire to learn more and build skillsets.

·        Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn software quickly.

·        Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.

·        Comfortable with adapting to changing conditions and managing time and effort accordingly. 

·        Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

 

 

 

 

Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.

 

Job Type & Schedule:

·        Fulltime

o   8-hour shift, 40 hours / week.

o   Day shift

o   Monday to Friday

 

 

Physical Requirements:

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

·        Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)

·        Keyboarding (40-60%)

·        Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (95-100%)

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a nursery environment.

Compensation:

$22.00 - $26.00 Depending on experience.
