Job Description for the Electrical Engineer:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position entails leading design efforts with minimal supervision on a task-by-task basis, focusing on the preparation and completion of responsive electrical engineering designs for various projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage the creation of design details, plans, drawings, and reports within designated areas of responsibility. Familiarization with the technical staff, methods, practices, and procedures of the company is essential

Primary Responsibilities of Electrical Engineer:

Contribute to the preparation of bid documents for diverse projects, such as New Buildings, Existing Building Renovations and Upgrades, Pump Stations, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades, Roadway Lighting, and other miscellaneous projects.

Utilize AutoCAD proficiently to draft comprehensive electrical construction drawings, including Floor Plans, Site Plans, Equipment Details, and Wiring Diagrams.

Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines, including Architectural, Mechanical, Structural, and Process Engineering, ensuring seamless integration of electrical designs.

Conduct site visits to assess and document existing conditions accurately.

Analyze both existing and proposed electrical loads to appropriately size electrical services, feeders, and branch circuits.

Evaluate project Instrumentation, Control, and Remote Monitoring requirements, and provide support for I&C design as necessary.

Maintain project tasks within schedule and budget parameters, aligning with project needs.

Provide necessary data for cost estimation and preliminary equipment cost reviews.

Explore and implement innovative methods and procedures to enhance company and client outcomes.

Conduct independent studies and prepare clear, concise reports documenting findings and conclusions.

Demonstrate proficiency in accepted electrical engineering and instrumentation/control design standards and practices to meet client needs and uphold company standards.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer required.
