Location: Arlington, VA
Rapier Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, ensuring the successful execution of our government contracts, particularly in the realm of finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards, particularly in federal financial accounting.
- Utilize DoD or Army accounting expertise, including proficiency with the Defense Departmental Reporting System (DDRS).
- Provide guidance and support in the implementation of financial management best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and project coordination.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure successful project execution.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, or related field.
- Valid and current CPA license issued by an accredited State Board of Accountancy.
- Recent (within the last 3 years) experience in DoD or Army accounting.
- Familiarity with federal government accounting standards, including Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), OMB Circular A-11, and OMB Circular A-136.
- Preferred: Audit experience and project management experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
