Senior Accountant - Public Sector Finance

Contribute to our North Tahoe Community! The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) provides recreation (ski, golf, tennis/pickleball, parks & recreation) and utility (water, sewer, conservation) services for the Incline Village and Crystal Bay communities.

Now hiring a Senior Accountant, who under the direction of the Controller, provides lead support to the Accounting Department by applying the principles of accounting & financial reporting & staff supervision (including general ledger, analyzing/preparing financial information). Req: BA/BS Accounting and five years accounting experience, including one year of supervisor/lead experience. CPA license or progress towards highly desired. Excellent organization, administration, analytical, interpersonal and customer service skills; strong and accurate math/computer/10-key skills and able to work in a self-directed environment. Valid driver's license. Very detail oriented and able to prioritize and organize to meet schedules and deadlines. Deal effectively and courteously with the public and all levels of employees. Handle changing circumstances in a positive manner and use initiative and independent judgement to maintain status of on-going projects.

Salary: $93,779 - $109,409/yr. DOE/DOQ (mid-max range) & incl hybrid work schedule & fantastic benefits (medical, dental, vision, RX, vacation & sick leave, pension & deferred comp retirement plans, 11 holidays, recreation privileges and food/beverage discounts. Position is "Open Until Filled."
