Pexip, a strong player in the video communications industry, is looking fora hard-working, self-starting solution architect. You will be responsible for technical leadership within your vertical and accountable to sales teams, customers, and partners. Typical tasks include solution design, security consultation and owning the 'technical win' of opportunities of all size.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen balance of technical ability with the interpersonal skills to help customers understand how the utilization of Pexip technology can increase the value of new and existing applications and services.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will be a key resource in Pexip's technical development and in driving our recognition and success in a highly competitive and exciting marketplace. Most of your time will be spent with federal agencies and partners, where you will be instrumental in architecting creative solutions that encompass all technical and mission goals for your customers. During this process you will be working with other members of the Pexip Engineering team including our world class R&D teams in the United States, Norway and the UK.

Required Qualifications:

• General understanding of NIPR, SIPR and JWICS networks and Impact Levels
• Exposure to FedRAMP solutions and the requirements of government entities
• A good working knowledge of the collaboration industry and related protocols, including SIP, H.323, WebRTC, Microsoft Skype for Business, firewall traversal, VoIP and so on
• Awareness and demonstrable knowledge of commodity compute and virtualization, including VMware and Intel Xeon processors
• Conceptual understanding of modern cloud infrastructures like Microsoft Azure Government and AWS GovCloud
• Knowledge of ancillary technologies that help govern IP-based communications: firewalls, routers, MPLS networks, media relays, reverse proxies, etc
• Understanding of third-party collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Skype for Business on-prem/365, Cisco etc
• Experience with Diagram and Design Software (Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop, OmniGraffle etc)
• Exposure to client-side web languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience in a pre-sales environment, working directly with account management teams to help create new business as well as serving existing customers
• Strong communication skills; Written and Verbal
• Must be willing and eager to learn new technologies
• Willing to go above and beyond in the name of customer and organizational success

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Security Clearance
• Exposure to APL certification processes for JITC or JWICS
• Exposure to Zero-Trust Security Frameworks
• A strong background in solution design for custom, bespoke solutions
• Ability to engage in "The Art of the Possible" conversations regarding custom applications and API-based integrations
• Conceptual understanding of server-side languages such as Python or Java
• Preferably residing in Pacific or Mountain time zones. (Candidate will cover all US time zones)
