We are an online sales company hiring our very first sales person to lead and develop our sales team and strategy. We partner with brands too help them on the Amazon platform, and we do not charge for our services. We instead make our money when we buy from our clients at wholesale and sell the end end customer at retail. We are an Inc 5,000 5x Fastest Growing Company in America. We have already had a lot of success selling clients, but never made the jump to hire. We believe now is the time.
The VP of sales would be tasked with developing the reach out strategy, implementing it, and of course leading the charge to connect with viable clients. From there, they would perform the sales call and pass it to a brand rep who would manage the account from there on.
The head of sales would be paid a base salary of $36,000 per year and then would be paid commission on the sales of brands that they were able to acquire. Mixt signs clients in 1 year increments and always strives to resign these clients (which we do at a very high rate). The head of sales would then be paid 2% of the total sales from the brand on a monthly basis. Thus, to make an extra $100,000, the sales rep would need to sell 5mm in new business per year. This commission would drop in year 2 to 1% on any brand renewal and year 3 to 0.5%.
We believe that a qualified, hard working, innovative sales rep could sell 3-10 million dollars per year, possibly more (we have accounts that do 3-5mm per year individually, which are rare but exist).
We would like the rep to generally be in the office, as that is how we have had most of our success at Mixt. We have a great culture and like to utilize it.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
- Experience as a supervisor or manager
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to build rapport with clients
