Maintenance Specialist III - Structural - 8 hrs/day (Highlands/PC#253041)

Position Summary: Performs specialized and generalist skilled maintenance and repair such as welding, painting, carpet, carpentry, and roofing plus preventative building systems maintenance and servicing. Participates with Maintenance Specialists in the performance of skilled work projects in the various construction and mechanical systems trades, such as, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other crafts.

Salary: $29.52 - $39.01 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience (new hire maximum of step 5).
** 2024-2025 School Year (effective 7/1/24): $30.41 - $40.18 per hour in 9 annual steps.
Location: Highlands High School 
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week
NOTE: SWING SHIFT POSITION

Education and Experience: The position requires a High School diploma as demonstrated by arithmetic, reading, and writing skills sufficient to understand safety instructions, read and document work orders, read plans and drawings, make  measurements, plus 4 years of experience in facilities construction, maintenance, and remodel that includes at least one skilled sub-specialty matching the District’s needs.

Licenses and Certifications: Requires a valid Driver’s License.
