The Production Planner keeps the facility moving and orchestrates the seamless flow of materials to sustain our production schedules. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on optimizing processes and ensuring the efficiency and continuity of production operations.

What does the day-to-day look like?

As the Production Planner, you'll be deeply involved in monitoring and analyzing our material needs to meet both immediate and future production demands. Working closely with Purchasing to prevent shortages and manage the availability of all necessary materials, ensuring smooth operations with minimal interruptions. Coordinating material movement across cultivation, production, warehouse, and dispensaries, evaluating batch sizes and cost metrics, and adjusting safety stock levels to balance service and financial targets are the focus. You'll also produce weekly reports detailing stock positions, risk periods, and forecast accuracy. Developing and tracking key performance metrics will be a crucial part of your role, as will updating capacity plans to support our growth and production capabilities. Additionally, you'll maintain robust internal relationships and utilize advanced tracking systems to uphold strict quality control standards.

You'd be an great fit if you:

Are at least 21 years of age or older.
Hold a BS/BA degree (highly preferred) or have an equivalent combination of education and experience in production or manufacturing operations.
Have at least three years of experience managing production planning in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Are proficient with Microsoft Excel and have a solid understanding of inventory control and production operations.
Exhibit excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions and develop strategies.
