Job Description

Our medical practice, known for its exceptional mission-driven, patient-centric culture, is actively seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to play a hands-on role in supporting the Providers and Staff and the planned growth of the business. The role will be essential to establishing the efficiency of clinical processes, streamlining operations, and ensuring strict adherence to compliance, policies and procedures, and business metrics.

In the role of Director of Clinical Operations, you’ll be responsible for overseeing administrative activities, monitoring internal processes, and managing the office operations of 2+ locations as well as our active expansion. Your understanding of clinic workflow and ability to create scalability in an entrepreneurial environment will be deeply valued in this strategic leadership role. As the Operations Director, You Will:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple departments, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects and components of the practices to ensure the quality of care and efficient program operation.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations management.
  • Supervise the treatment team, including front and back office staff to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  • Oversee the productivity of the practice to meet established standards and to ensure continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive services.
  • Collaborate effectively with other community organizations, local businesses, and other vendors to maximize opportunities for partners and potential growth of the practice.
  • Have established knowledge and experience to train and supervise the clinical team on evidence-based practices as well as to support professional development within the clinic.
  • Maintain clinical compliance with all Federal and State Laws and Regulations as well as Accreditation Standards, including the submission of corrective action plans and tracking of Continued Medical Education for Providers.
  • Monitor documentation by the clinical staff in order to ensure that documentation is maintained at the highest level of clinical function.
  • Facilitate and/or attend staff meetings to provide input toward program development and staff training.
  • Support clinical expansion and ensure individual practices are fully staffed to support new physicians and physician assistants. 
  • Identify, develop, and implement revenue-generating verticals within healthcare


Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, holding a leadership role within a multi-clinic environment.
  • Proven ability to design best practices, scaling and delivering results in a quickly growing business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field a plus
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with or employed by a Management Service Organization.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule based on the needs of the program.
  • Experience in clinical acquisition, integration and expansion is a big plus!
