What You'll Do

Janitorial Tasks

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash.
• Ensure bathrooms are inspected, cleaned, and stocked according to standards.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
• Keep aisles and passageways clean and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard.
• Keep outside grounds around buildings free of trash, or other unnecessary materials.
• Clean up all spills immediately.
• Keep lunchroom floors swept, mopped, tables and counters clean, etc.
• Report anything that’s broken or not working properly so it can be fixed.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.

Facilities Maintenance

• Inspecting lighting fixtures for any damage or signs of wear.
• Replacing faulty or burnt-out bulbs promptly.
• Fixing clogged drains and leaks.
• Safety inspections.
• Preventive maintenance as needed.

What You'll Need

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a housekeeping position.
• 2 – 3 years of handyman experience preferred.
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and complete assigned work on time
