Procurement Manager - Healthcare

This is a full-time, benefitted position in our corporate office in Fairfax, Virginia. This role will also travel to our various centers across Northern Virginia.

Who you are:

As a Procurement Manager at Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are known for embracing operational efficiencies to help control costs and improve delivery of quality healthcare services. You understand that everything you do impacts our patient’s experience.

What you’ll do:

• Evaluates and implements procurement systems, technology, and tools to streamline the ordering and fulfillment processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Negotiates agreements, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, payment terms, and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Support strategic capital investment decisions by performing total cost of ownership analysis.
• Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimize stock par levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Establish supply inventory warehouse and work with internal transportation and couriers to ensure timely delivery of supply needs to operating centers

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare procurement
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or another related field
  1. Combination of education and experience may be considered
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and utilization of procurement software
• High level of written, verbal, and presentation skills
• You are comfortable with interacting with senior leadership as well as center managers and external vendors.
