Job Description

Custom home builder looking for purchasing and project management experience.

We are seeking a Construction Project/Purchasing Assistant to join our team! You will help project planning, budgeting, purchasing, and client option choices.

Responsibilities:

Allocate resources for assigned projects through project purchasing
Supervise personnel and subcontractors to make sure proper materials are installed
Interface with sub-contractors, architects, engineers, and clients as needed
Negotiate with sub-contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Help oversee aspects of home owner selections from planning to implementation

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software; Buildertrend.com software experience a plus
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
