The candidate will provide inventory management and maintenance of hardware/software
systems, including clients, servers, monitors, and printers on a TS/SCI network located within the NMCC and the Pentagon. They will also maintain an Equipment Inventory List (EIL) of all equipment, servers, workstations, monitors, printers, and other miscellaneous hardware items.
They will then physically inventory and verify the location of each piece of equipment on the EIL annually. The candidate will utilize available software daily to check the up/down status of all equipment on the EIL, notifies the COR of equipment that is DOWN, and coordinates with the users to repair or remove the equipment as appropriate. The candidate will maintain an
Equipment Transfer List (ETL) recording the equipment and location of new-installs, moves, and de-installs. This includes lifecycle replacement of clients, servers, monitors, printers, and
associated equipment. The Hardware Specialists will run fiber or CAT5 cable, as appropriate,
from the activated port to the client.
MUST have a TS/SCI clearance already completed
