IHSS Caregiver - Auburn (Part-Time)

Mondays and Saturdays from 9am-3:30pm & Sundays 4pm-11pm

*IHSS: Not employed by New Start SLS. IHSS is a separate employer provided by Placer County. New Start assists individuals we support with hiring IHSS staff. You would work directly for the client and IHSS in Placer County. IHSS staff must be certified through Placer County IHSS or be willing to become certified as part of the hiring process. Pay for IHSS shifts determined by Placer County IHSS (between $17-18 per hour)

LIFE SKILLS COACH:

The Life Skills Coach does exactly that coach adults on life skills. We work with adults with developmental disabilities who live independently and wish to be more independent. The Life Skills Coach (LSC) will assist the client with learning daily skills such as menu planning, grocery shopping and cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and using public transportation. The LSC will assist the consumer with medical and dental appointments. The LSC will assist the consumer with transportation when working on individual service plan objectives and services. These are a few examples of the type of work you will be doing.
