Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team and lead our Two-Year-Old Classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education, a love for working with young children, and the ability to create a warm and nurturing classroom environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our youngest learners while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and supported.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.
Conduct ongoing assessments of childrens progress and communicate with families regularly to provide updates on their childs development.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space that reflects our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education theories.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the children and program.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
