Natural Retreats is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our Mammoth Lakes, CA team! Come join the best luxury vacation rental management company! The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the homes within the Natural Retreats’ portfolio in order to ensure an exemplary guest experience
Compensation: $24/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the maintenance department’s successful completion of the following diversified duties. Examples include but are not limited to:
- Perform diversified duties to troubleshoot and/or maintain core home systems as well as basic repairs to interior and exterior of home aesthetics (i.e. painting, dry wall repair, basic construction, etc.)
- Move equipment, appliances, furniture, etc.
- Hot tub servicing
- Remove items from home for disposal
- Maintain lawn, walkways, driveways, etc.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
- Pick up trash
- Perform regular preventative maintenance in homes
- Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions
- Assist housekeeping when needed
- Perform general maintenance pre-checks prior to owner or guest arrivals
- Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of buildings, grounds, homes, units, and other properties are maintained as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections
- Manage inventory, monitor usage, and coordinate in the purchasing of materials, supplies, tools, and housekeeping supplies
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle
- Report any maintenance issues and/or accidents immediately
- Emergency on-call phone – all of team will be tasked with this responsibility
- Assist with snow removal and general exterior upkeep
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
REQUIRED
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics and appliance repair
- Proficiency in technology such as cell phones and basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license, 3+ years of driving experience and good driving record (Will be utilizing company vehicle)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and be active up to 85% of the work day
- Shovel snow when required
- Available to work weekends
DESIRED
- HVAC Certification
- Experience in the hospitality industry
