Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center located inside Hocking Hills State Park is seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly & welcoming personalities for Seasonal Maintenance positions.

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is a brand new 81-room lodge with 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant/lounge, and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests. Job Summary: Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance. special projects, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance work to ensure lodge and cabin maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained. This job is seasonal and will end at the completion of our busy summer season.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the outdoor pool area
Assist with event & wedding setup for outdoor events
Keep grounds clear of visible trash and cleans the parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed removal
Maintain flowerpots, planting beds, trim shrubs, edge sidewalks
Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
Keep the storage area clean every day and lock all storage areas before clocking out
Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
Assembly and maintenance of picnic tables, Solo Stoves, outdoor furniture, and other projects
Painting cabin porches and steps, installing outdoor cabin light fixtures, cleaning grills and firepits
Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Chief Engineer

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required
Reliable transportation and a valid Ohio driver's license
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
Must be able and willing to work outside for majority of the day
Must be able and willing to work weekends and evenings
