Qualifications and job description for Medical Transcriptionist

• Proficiency with EHR, Microsoft Office

• Create patient's medical record in real-time based on intake paperwork, physical exam, and physicians' treatment plan

• Previous experience in hospital or other health care setting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong critical thinking skills

• Ability to work and thrive in pressure situations

• Punctual and reliable disposition

• Superb listening and time management skills

• Able to type efficiently and accurately

• Experience preferred, but will train

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting $17-$18 per hour depending on experience

Experience:

• Typing: 1 year (Required)
