Position: Pediatric Dentist (Fill-In/ Temporary)
Schedule: Temporary assignment May - July Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Fill-in as needed.
Business hours of operation: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 
Location: Rocklin/Citrus Heights, CA

The pediatric specialist chosen for this position must exhibit an extremely caring nature, excellent communication skills, and professionalism beyond compare. Additionally, the ideal candidate is enthusiastic about dentistry and is committed to delivering high-quality comprehensive care to young patients.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of California
• Dental degree from an accredited university (DDS/DMD)
• American Board of Pediatric Dentistry board-eligible or certified
• People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Loves working with infants, children, and adolescents- including the special care population and their families 
• Excellent communication skills with patients, parents, and team members
• Honest, ethical, compassionate, and humble
• Friendly and collaborative

Duties Include:

• Provide comprehensive dental treatment to infants, children, and teens
• Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Comprehensive, detailed operative dental care
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Lead and collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in dentistry

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, leaning, and bending
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
• Dexterity of arms, hands, and fingers to handle dental tools
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be physically able to administer CPR

* $1,100-$1,500/day based upon qualifications
