EH&S Manager (Aerospace)

- Responsible for the division of Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene Programs and ensure compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations.
- Serve as a consultant to managers and supervisors on accident
-prevention and loss
-control enhancements and provides interpretation of related policies and procedures. - Work with Human Resource to administer the Workers' Compensation program.
- Coordinate all training programs related to safety, ergonomics, accident prevention and first aid.
- Evaluate, review, and make recommendations on proposed plant layouts, equipment and facilities, assuring the control of the hazards which are potentially existent in the storage, handling or use of toxic material and harmful agents.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineer or Occupational Safety and Health
- Certified in hazardous material management, 40 hour HAZWOPER and environmental auditor
- Min 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (a plus within aerospace) that includes working knowledge of environmental management systems; code and federal & state OSHA regulations, including Life Safety Code, the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Workers' Compensation laws
- Master's degree
- Machine shop experience
